Leni as a full name vs. Eleni vs. Lenora
For weeks I've been loving the name Leni, said like Lenny, for a girl. I decided to sit on it for a while to see if the appeal faded before asking for opinions, it hasn't so here I am needing help. I know the name is quite nicknamey but feel it could work no problem as a full name. We came across Eleni and find that beautiful too. We also find Lenora stunning, but the chance of Nora is a little meh. We are aware it can also be short for Eleanor, Helene, Helen, Helena and Elena, there is absolutely nothing wrong with those names but they are not really names we are drawn to. What do you think? Leni as a full name? Or Leni as a shortening for either Eleni or Lenora? Any middle name ideas? Thank you so much!

Lenora, if you don't want people to call her Nora, just say Lenora or Leni. People will usually listen when corrected.

I adore Leni on its own, but Eleni is gorgeous too. Lenora is okay, but if you're not fans of Nora as a nickname, I wouldn't use. You definitely can control the nickname while she's young, but you don't know what she'll want to be called when she's older.

I like Lenora. That can be her official name and if you introduce her as Leni from the beginning, no one will call her Nora.

I know someone named Eleni and I love it! That's my vote. I also think Lennon (nn Leni if you want) is adorable for a girl, but of course you would get John Lennon questions and some people might be confused about the gender.

I LOVE Leni! I feel that it definitely could be used as a full name, but if you don't want that, I would for sure go with Eleni, it is gorgeous. I don't hate Lenora, but it is pretty old fashioned and not my favorite. Leni or Eleni are both gorgeous and I would choose either of those for her full name.

Eleni is my favorite, but Lenora is really nice too. I would give her a full name, because she may want a more feminine sounding name to go by when she is older.

I wouldn't use Leni as a full name,it would always sound like Lenny, the man's nickname for Leonard.
Eleni nn Leni is pretty though.
