Jane vs. Lucy vs. Jaine

I'm obsessed with the names Jane and Lucy. Call me boring or whatever you like, but they're so pretty to me. I'm also taking a liking to Jaine, Jayne, and Jaen as modern alternatives of Jane. Which name do you like the most? Also, is Janie good as a full name? I'd consider the name Janie as well.

I've only seen Jane or Jayne. Jaen looks like a typo of Jean. I think Jayne looks nicer than Jaine. I would not use Janie as a full name because to me it sounds childish.

Jane is beautiful and underrated. I love it as a first name!
I love Lucy as well, although It's quite common at least where I live. It's a great "international" name in that many cultures use it.

Lucy Jane would be darling. I'm not a huge fan of Jane as a first name. A bit on the older side, but everyone likes different names!

These are classics. My cousin just named her daughter Janie (I think she spells it Janey?) and I think that's a cute way to modernize the name Jane a little bit. Plus, your daughter could just go by Jane if she preferred when she got older.

I've never met a Jane. I think people hate it so much because it's been the designated middle name for so many baby girls (also looking at Rose, Marie, Grace) but in the first name spot it's actually pretty because not a lot of other people are using it anymore.

Between Lucy & Jane was hard but I like Jane most

Jane is plain no matter what slot it's in . Lucy is so much better
