Tillie vs. Tilly

Hey, we are really like the name Tillie/Tilly but aren't sure how to spell it. We are considering using a full name so any ideas would be very appreciated. Otherwise, thoughts Tillie/Tilly on its own? Any feedback and thoughts are welcome!

Tilly gmv. Darling. If it's a stand along name then the Y spelling is best. But they both work well..

Usually Tillie / Tilly is short for Matilda. But I can also see:

Clotilda / Clothilde ("klo-TEELD") -- Eng / Fr
Tigerlily
Theophila -- ("thee-AH-fil-uh")
Bertille
Twila / Twyla
Annetilde -- ("anna + tilda")
Trilby
Ottilie -- ("AHT-i-lee")

Agree it's normally Matilda. But some alternatives to Ottillie as well are Ottiline or Ottilia
