Hazel vs. For blue-eyed vs. Daughter
Having blue eyes is a common thing in my family. This is my third and last child, and I won't be surprised if she's blonde-haired, blue-eyed. I've always loved the name Hazel, and put off using it for my other kids. They have blonde hair and blue eyes, so I thought it wouldn't fit. Hazel is a color, and wide-known as its color. Now, I don't think that it matters as much, so I want to use it. Should I name my little girl Hazel? Please, give your honest feedback on a blonde, blue-eyed girl named Hazel.
The Top Baby Name is...

It's completely fine to be a blonde, blue eyed Hazel. Hazel is an eye colour, but it's also a plant. It really doesn't matter; you should use the name.

Hazel is fine for anyone, and a great choice. The name Hazel has risen in the charts recently. That's can't all be down to an increase in the number of babies being born with the rare eye color, hazel. It's a tree and a nut, not just a color.
I had neighbors with a little Hazel. I have no idea what color her eyes are not did I ever wonder. I just thought her parents wanted a name from nature. Good luck! :0)

Hazel is a darling choice. If you love it, go for it. Any name can fit any child. It's not any different than someone naming their child Violet (nobody has purple eyes haha!).

I have never considered the thought that a child named Hazel needed a certain eye color. Babies eye color change. I bet there are many blue eyed Hazels. It is a spunky cute name.

Hazel is cute. If you want to look into a "color" name for a blue eyed baby, maybe consider
Indigo
Azzura
Skye
Navy
Sapphira

I love the name Hazel and think it works just as well with any coloring! I think of the plant before the color, it has a nice nature-y vibe to me

It will be fine, regardless of her eye color. I knew a little girl, Mexican-American, named Blanca. That means 'white' and she was not even close to being white-skinned. Hazel is a lovely nature name. To me, it gives an outdoorsy and spunky vibe.

I dislike the name Hazel, but wouldn't worry one iota about a kid named Hazel having blue eyes or blond hair.

Don't worry about that. Names are free to anyone. Not every Hazel has Hazel eyes. Not every Jade has green eyes (probably not a good comparison lol but still see what I mean). No one's going to think it's weird she doesn't have Hazel eyes

I don't love the name, but I think it's totally fine to use it for a blue eyed baby.
