Eva vs. Maia

Which do you prefer? If you could tell why that would be great. I think we prefer the spelling Maia over Maya for two main reasons. 1) Maia is the original spelling after the goddess of fertility. 2) I worry at first glance that I see 'Mayo' when spelt Maya. Also, please suggest middle names!! So far, liking Charlotte and Grace paired with them both, but they are soo expected as middle names. I would like to explore other options first before choosing Charlotte or Grace as a middle name. Thank you!

This was a hard, hard choice. Both names are seriously gorgeous! I also like the Maia spelling better - I think it looks nicer and the pronunciation is more clear. Eva GMV but I wouldn't be mad at all if Maia won!!!

I prefer Eva. There's nothing wrong with Maia, it just strikes me as more modern and trendy, while Eva seems more timeless and classic.

I only like the Maya spelling so Eva definitely gets my vote!
Maybe Eva Gracelyn?
Less expected than just Grace.

If it was Maya, I'd vote that. But as is I guess Eva though I'm not a huge fan of it. I'd prefer Eve. The saturated Ava ruins it for me, though I know they're pronounced differently.
