No e. Know a girl with this name, its always awkward, never get used to it. Surnames don't make good girl names.

Whenever someone uses a name that is traditionally considered male for a girl I think they should at least alter the spelling so that when someone sees the name on paper it might give them pause and consider that it might be a girl.For example if I were going to name a girl Elliott I'd spell it Elliette.
So in your case since Quincy is the most common spelling I voted for Quincey but I would also like to suggest Quincie as an option.

My son has a female classmate with this first name. Spelling is very, very weird: Quynsi. I don't recommend that.

We're going with the Quincy spelling. The notion that only boys can have surnames is absurd to us. Thank you though!
