Would you take vs. Lennox seriously
My partner and I are expecting our second child, a girl. We are already parents to Felix Andrew. We can't figure out a girl name we both like. I wanted to do Eleanor and call her Leni. My partner likes Leni but not Eleanor and suggested Lennox as a compromise. I worry it isn't serious enough for future job applications and a professional setting. I'm also worried we won't be happy since it is no one's first choice (hers is Brenna Collins and mine is Josephine Dorothy but both were vetoed). Is Lennox a good compromise name?

I wouldn't. I wouldn't be mean to anyone about their name, but my immediate thought when thinking of Lennox or hearing it is just that it's ugly to me. I dislike it even more for a girl. I like the last suggestions more

I don't personally have any problems with Lennox and I love Leni, but I think Lennox and Felix may be too much with the same endings. Lennon would be cute imo. You shouldn't settle if you don't love the name.
I also think that trendy, more different names are a thing right now so everyone in her generation will be aplying for jobs at the same time if that's what you're worried about. I think we're finally coming to a point in time that we're not as judgmental when seeing someone's name on paper (or at least I hope we are).
I think you have plenty of wonderful suggestions above for Leni, what about just naming her Leni without a full name? I think Leni works just as well on its own and plus you both like it.

I don't like Lennox at all. It's not suitable as a first name, let alone for a girl. I like Eleanor though.

I don't like how close Lennox is to Felix. Try to find a name you both like a lot. Using just Leni is fine too.

No offense but since asked, I hate Lennox. Too trendy and I doubt just anyone could pull it off. I would think that upon introduction.

I think Lennon is a lot nicer than Lennox. Delaney would be another cute option
I would take Lennox herself seriously, but not her parents. :)
