I like it a lot, but it's probably because of the most wonderful association I have...my Aunt Helen. I really like Helene and Helena, but I think I pronounce Helena differently from most. I say he-LEE-nah and I've heard others say he-LAY-nah.

Adding to the above comment, the Helena I know pronounces it "Helen-uh" so I think it can go either way.

I voted Helena...but only if its pronounced Hel-Ain-uh. If you're pronouncing it any other way, then I would vote Helen. Also, another option is Elaina!

I know a Helen that is 40 and another that is 23 and my grandmother would have been 90 and her name was Helen .
