Hannah Ivy vs. Hannah Rose
Hannah is 100% decided upon as it has sentimental value. I know Rose is soo common as a middle, but it as well has sentimental value. What I am unsure of is should we choose a name that has double semtimental value, and we do both love the names OR go with Ivy which is another name we really love, but doesn't have any sentimental value - to break up the name some? Super torn on what to do. If we don't use Rose as a middle now, then we will definitely still use it as a middle another time (if possible). What would you do? Thanks!

Use Rose if it means something to you. Your baby, not anyone else's.

I'd use it now because you aren't sure you'll have another opportunity and it sounds really important to you. There are also lots of Rose name variations so if you wanted to go with something that wasn't strictly an honor name but still held sentimental value, you could explore those options.

I don't think Hannah Ivy flows very well, and I think you should use a name that's special to you, regardless of popularity… unless your last name is something like Smith or Brown. If you have a really common last name or if you're still worried about the name being really common, what about Hannah Rosemary? Incorporates Rose but adds some of the same interest as Ivy. Hannah Rosemarie is another great option.

Hannah Rose is lovely. I'd use it now if it's important to you. Hannah Rosalie would be another beautiful option.

Rosalie is meh . Rosalina is different and isn't the same old Rosalie or Rose which scream boredom.

@4kidmom - Thank you all for the suggestions and help!! Rosalie is soo beautiful as well. We have an older daughter and her middle name is Emilie. Are they too similar having that same ending? Again, when we have more kids (likely only 1 or 2 more) we won't want to use that same ending as of our style right now. Is that too similar and weird?

Just use the name that means something to you. Hannah Rose is fine. No one's gonna say anything to you irl. Hannah Rose/Rosalie could work, Hannah Rosalina doesnt even go together. Not that hard

Rosalina might not go but it's better than the same old boring usage which gets really tiring . But apparently that is too hard for you to understand .

Just found this article and came to say my daughter is called Hannah-Rose, named for sentimental reasons. Hope you chose a name you love!!
