Kairyn vs. Yes vs. No

So, I've never been a fan of super unique and uncommon names, I usually stick with classic names. I just recently read a fantasy book and immediately fell in love with this boy name. It's pronounced kai-rin. I've never heard this name before and just adore the name Kai in general so his nickname would be Kai. Thoughts on this name? Middle name suggestions would be great!!

Unfortunately, to me it just sounds like a mispronuciation of Karen. These days no one would name their child Karen I wouldn't think they would anyway. Do you like Kai Wren insert last name...Idk that still sounds odd to me...maybe Kailyn?

Kairyn is slightly made-up for my liking, and something about the 'ryn' ending reads a little girly. Kai Ren is very Star Wars/Kylo Ren so it's not something I would go for. I think Kai is a very handsome first name; I am trying to think of a middle name you could use to get 'ryn' in the name, and call him Kairyn as a nickname. Also, Kyren could be another spelling which might work?

Looks like Karen to me. For a boy I'd spell it like it sounds-Kyren/Kyran/Kyrin/Kyron.

To close to Karen. Names shouldn't be wrecked like Karen is. I am sure Karen's come in all types of shapes,sizes,and personalities.

I think the Kairyn spelling would lead to mispronunciations. I know of someone named Kyran, though (said the exact same).
