Unless you actually love Marigold, and aren't using it to get the nickname Goldie, I would go with Goldie. It can 100% stand alone as a full name (like the common Charlie, Rosie, Sylvie, Daisy). Personally, I like Goldie on its own much more than any full name.

Marigold is fine. I like marigold because if she doesn't like Goldie it will give her other options.

Goldie is Peppa Pig's goldfish. Sorry, I have little kids, so that's what immediately comes to mind. Marigold, while not a huge favorite of mine, does seem to give more options and I like it a lot better than Goldie. Do you like Golda? I have a friend named Golda, though she's never gone by Goldie.
