Nickname vs. For vs. Alfredo

Options are: Fredo, Red, Alpha, Alfie, or Ali. I'm more inclined toward Fredo but unsure if the traitor connotation from the Godfather has dissipated from modern culture. Second favorite is Ali, followed by Alpha. Fred/Freddie, Ed/Eddie, and Al aren't usable for us. Just looking for general thoughts and consensus on what would you think to yourself if you came across a little boy called any of those nicknames. Thank you!

Fredo is adorable. Sure, the Godfather thing is there. But you're not going to be happy with anything less. And as he ages that movie reference will get fade. Good luck! :0)
