I would pronounce them differently. Are you saying them the same way? Like with an N sounds instead of an ING sound?

You realize if you have a girl, she'll go through her life with most people who meet her thinking, "what a nice girl/woman. Too bad about her name." It seems to me like that's something a parent should care about.
