Jalen vs. Jaden
I'm considering one of these 2 names for my son. I'm also open to other ways to spell them, like Jayden or Jaylen, although I'm not super crazy about unnecessary Ys. What are your thoughts?

Personally I'd go for Jaden since my autocorrect hates Jalen. Yes he might be lost in the sea of Aiden/Brayden/Caden/Zayden/Belterwertywuopsgfkdayden (I made that up) etc. though I find Jaden as more masculine sounding.

Jalen doesn't trigger my autocorrect, and I like that both Jay and Len can be nick names.
I do like Jaylen spelled with the y better though.
