It's fine. My name was more popular a generation before mine, and virtually unheard of for girls my age. But I always like it because everyone knew the name but I never had to share a name with a classmate. "Dated" can be a positive. This issue with Lindsay is that there isn't only one common spelling so she'd probably get her name misspelled on occasion. Otherwise I like it.
