(First name for) vs. middle name Della!

Baby girl #2! We're using the middle name Della (a family name that's important to us) but we're not settled on a first name. Her sister's name is Claire Violet. Looking for something that fits with Della, but maybe more importantly that feels right and is accessible as a first name alone. Hopefully not tooooo popular, but I love somewhat classic/vintage names. Examples of names we like include Amelia/Emilia, Cora, Emma, Lucy, Elsie, Lara, Madeleine, Lena, etc. Thanks so much for your ideas!

Names ending in A don't necessarily flow the best with Della, but I do adore Emma with Claire. Lucy Della would work well too.

Thanks so much for the input so far!! I am loving so many. Ivy, Charlotte, Natalie, Elise, Molly, etc.

Hypothetically, if I were to go with Lucy Della… it's so darling for a child, but will Lucy age with her and not sound too young when she's 40?

Also, for reference, last name is a single syllable with an "ooh" vowel. Would "Ruby Booth" or "Lucy Booth" (not real last name) be cute or clunky?

Lucy works well for all ages imo! It's darling for a child, but I think with its traditional background, it ages well. There will be plenty of "Lucy's" in her generation. I also think it flows well enough with a last name containing similar "oo" sounds.

Glad you're getting some ideas you love!

Claire and Eleanor go great together.
I also think Meredith and Elise go with both Della and Claire really well.
