Aurora is pretty but I'd eliminate it because it's WAY too many R sounds with the last name. It makes it difficult to say, a little bit, and would likely be extremely difficult for a toddler.

In my opinion, Ellie is way overplayed (especially as a nickname) and Nova is just one of those trendy new names that will go out of fashion quickly and become a tacky name. However, Aurora is very pretty and will probably always be unique, while it isn't too crazy and made up. I think Aurora is the definite best option!

I don't usually vote for a nickname but I think Ellie sounds the best with your surname.

Aurora Ryder is too heavy on the R's and Nova Ryder means "new rider" which I find a little odd. It also reminds me of actress Winona Ryder.

I like Nova best. It sounds just fine with the last name. I'm so over Ellie I could scream. It's annoying when you have 4 of the same name in the classroom.

I know 3 baby Nova's. But im still going to tell you that if you like it use it cause im not a baby that can't handle people having the same name like some people seem to not be able to do
