Cillian vs. Killian
Which spelling would you use? Both are pronounced the same. Husbands name is Ian and we kind of want to avoid the "kill" but I feel like most people won't pronounce Cillian correctly. Feedback would be great thanks

If you're going for KILL spell it Killian. I'd say Cillian as seel-ian or sill-ian.

I think it depends on where you live. Do you think people would know how to pronounce Cillian. And some people on here need to grow up. Cill means church in Irish.

I'd go with the more authentic Cillian. He'll probably have to correct people a lot depending on where you live, but with a dad named Ian, "kill Ian" seems like a very odd choice.
