Jessop/Jessup is for a girl. For me, Jessie is strictly a nickname and it needs a full name. I don't want Jessica, Jessa, Jessalyn, or Jessamine -- they're too old for my liking. I am not open to suggestions.

Jesse is great for a boy
Jessie is a great Nickname for a girl if you use Jessica or Jessalyn but Jessop and Jessup are terrible
