Double Middle Name vs. Yes vs. No
My daughter has 2 middle names to honor my grandmother that passed.
I'm now pregnant with my second daughter, and I'm wondering should I give her 2 middle names also? I am trying to think of something with significance of course.
Would you feel left out if your sister had 2 middle names and you only had one? I don't want her name to seem very short in comparison.
Thanks for your opinions!

I wouldn't feel left out but girls tend to be more jealous over silly stuff like that

You could give her the same middle name as her grandmother and use another one you love so she'll have two also

You can give her your middle name and your grandmothers so her name will have meaning to like her sisters. My friends share their parents names as their middle names and they always loved it.

You don't have to do anything you don't want to do. It's not the end of the world. She'll be fine.

You could use another grandmother's name or the female version of a grandfather's name.

I think it would be fine to just use one middle name, rather than search for a second just because you feel you have to. I know families where not all kids have the same number of names. I went 'oh that's interesting, I wonder why' for all of about 5 seconds, before I went about the rest of my day.

Kids are going to be left out unless you make a big deal out of it.

I have a friend who has six kids. Only two have double middle names, the rest don't. I think all are fine.
