Alfie vs. Albie vs. Full name

Please help! I love the boys names Alfie and Albie. But I way prefer giving a child a traditional/full name and having Alfie or Albie as nn. Are there any full name options that aren't Albert or Alfred that might be a bit more modern?

Alwyn could work for either name.

Alwyn is the name of the man who runs a bird and animal sanctuary with a YouTube channel called "A Chick Called Albert". He is the sweetest most humble and loving person you will ever see. If such a name helped make such a beautiful person then surely the world needs more!

As traditional full names go, there are Alfred and Albert. I think that Alfred with the nickname Alfie is a handsome, unexpected choice! Albert is another nice name, but I just adore Alfred. Guest's comment is also a sweet one, even though I don't get how Alwyn could be nicknamed "Alfie" or "Albie".
