Silvia vs. Sylvia

The name is chosen but we remain stuck on the spelling. Usually I am all for the traditional spelling (in this case Silvia) but it seems the later spelling (Sylvia) is the most common. Which spelling is your opinion? Thank you.

Sylvia is prettiest. It's already an uncommon name. The spelling should be the most common.

Even though I chose Silvia, I love BOTH spelling of Silvia and Sylvia. I also recommend Sylvie if you prefer French sounding names of Silvia. just saying.

I voted for Sylvia but I sincerely have no preference for the way in which it's spelled. It's a lovely name.
