Jack vs. Still popular vs. Not Popular
I was just wondering if you still think Jack is still a popular name or do you think it has gone down in popularity? We are thinking of using this name for our son but we don't really want to use a name where he might have 3 or more Jack's in his class. Similar suggestions welcome of not so popular names. It ranked 15th in the United States in 2022. That being said I don't know anyone in my child's school named Jack

I recommend the same advice of actually checking your state's popularity. Where I am, a name that isn't top 20 is in the top 20 for my specific state. It's all regional. There may be a bunch of little baby Jack's in California, but not Ohio. If you get my drift

I know 7 Jacks under the age of 5! Ugh! Personally I extremely dislike the name. I have never seen the appeal in this name in looks or sound plus to top it off all the sexual comments that can be made from the name. No thanks. I find it the most bland, boring and most annoying name. I always dread when I heard yet another Jack. As well as, any older Jacks I have run into all have been awful people or people I just dont like so that doesnt help my strong hatred for the name.
