New name vs. Use it

We love Everett nn Rhett. Husband wants use use Edward as a middle and not sure about Everett Edward. Another thing is my niece's name is Evelyn. Our family is pretty close and they will spend time together. Should we find a new name?

I think using Rhett most of the time makes Everett not too close to Evelyn so you are good there. Everett Edward really doesn't work. If Edward is an honor name would you use a version or a middle name or another "E" name?

Edward is a family name that we want to use, no variations of it or other E names. But thank you for trying to help!

I really like Everett nn Rhett! But I agree with the first comment … Everett Edward doesn't flow. If Edward is a name you plan to use regardless, then I'd search for another first name. If not, I'd keep it and search for a new mn.

I love Rhett but I personally can't see myself using a one syllable name. I love having a nickname available if that makes sense

Everett Edward is perfectly fine. Use the family name.
