Motley, if you like how grungy and off beat they are (the bands, or sound of the names as a style)
Leopard, if you want something that sounds tough and dangerous, and want him to have a fall back nickname
Rush is too Limbaugh, a little political for my taste
Sabbath is a commonly used word that means holy day of the week, mostly Sunday in the Christian world, and Saturday in Jewish traditions. Black Sabbath used it and added the "black" part to make it sound satanic and dark. Without the "black", it just sounds like you're a religious family, rather than a fan of the band.
