Indie Sky vs. Indie Eloise vs. Indie Jane

Help us pick out a middle name for our 1st baby due early November! Of course we're not sure of the gender yet but we already have a boy name picked out, just having a hard time deciding on a middle name for a girl! Sky is a sentimental name for me as it was my sisters middle name who passed away unexpectedly at only 16. I'm just not sure if I love it with the name Indie? Eloise is not a family name but one that my husband and I both love and agree on. Jane (my great grandmother's middle name) has always been the name I pictured to go with Indie but I still can't decide. Thoughts?

We feel that Indie will "age" very well! We know multiple families that have used this name and it has been my top girl name for many years! That wasn't the point of the poll, just asking for middle name advice :) thanks though!

I like Sky the most. Great way to honor your sister. Jane is my least favorite since it's so common.

What is it with people giving unnecessary opinions? I clearly only asked for middle name advice and no, Mikayla (above comment), I don't agree that "India" is a better name than Indie. I actually don't like that name at all. Geez, stop trying to tell people what they should name their kid and only give your two cents on the actual question being asked. If it is a girl her name will be Indie, sorry to disappoint but coming from someone with a very common, "adult" name, I always wished I had a more unique name and still do to this day!

It's a childish, faddy name and people are simply trying to gently point that out, it's not unique, it's pretty common, know 3, including one who hates it. You might want to get over yourself, you post, you get opinions about every aspect, if you can't deal, don't post.

I wasn't trying to be rude, Poster. Indie sounds like a nickname and will not age well as your daughter grows to adulthood. So I was trying to point out a more mature full version. That's all.
