Franky vs. Frankie
We are loving the name Franklin for a boy and I'm not looking for opinions on the name. My question is, how would you spell his nickname? I always thought of Franky as the boy spelling and Frankie as feminine but looking around the internet people seem to think it's weird with a -y and should be Frankie for either gender. Which way seems more masculine to you?

I love this name! It gives off 1950s vibes in a good way! I can't imagine a girl with this name. It's definitely 100 percent masculine!
Go with Frankie. That's the only way I've seen it spelled.

I also would go with the Frankie spelling. I've never seen it spelled with a y.

Franky looks strange, kinda like you meant to write the word frankly and forgot the L. Frankie is how it is spelt pretty much all the time. I don't think it's girly at all. Then again, I don't think any boy name used on a girl is "girly".

Frankie! Imo it is completely masculine. I've never liked it for a girl. That said I really like Franklin nn Frankie. A very handsome choice.
