Ares vs. Aries

It is growing on me as a boy's/men's name. Thoughts and/or opinions? I am also considering Odin, Perun, Jupiter, Ash, and Osiris. Jove, Apollo, and Set have been taken out of the running already as well. Thank you for any help!

I think because Ares is rooted in Mythology and Aries in Astronomy, you can definitely "get away" with either. They're certainly better than random nouns, profession names and the like IMO.

If you want unique, I'd say you're on the proper path! Of the other names you're considering, I like Odin and Ash 😊

I'd go with Aries, like the constellation, rather than Ares, like the god of war. Odin and Ash are nice as well.

Can't look at Ares without thinking of "arse" but I am British so probably less of an issue in the US ;) My favourite would be Ash.
