Maybe for a middle name, but I'd find it a little embarrassing if it were my first name I think. It is a nice flower though.

No. Please don't. Maybe it would be okay for a middle name, but definitely not as a first. There are better flower names out there.

Clearly I'm in the minority here, but I don't hate it, perhaps because I love the wildflower so much. Lu makes a cute nickname. I don't see any huge problem with it as a name.
