Annelise vs. Penelope

I have fallen in love with the name "Nell" for a little girl but would love something a little more grown up for her fall back on. We cannot use Eleanor as we have a niece called Ellie which Eleanor could be shortened to. The obvious other idea is Penelope, we also like Penny so would be happy with either Nell or Penny (although Nell is our preference). We thought maybe Annelise would be a unexpected but beautiful choice too to get to the nickname Nell (again we also like all other alternative nicknames associated). Which do you think is the nicest full name for Nell? Thank you in advance.
