Honor Name vs. Help Please

My husband and I are having our final baby, a boy. We'd both like to honor a family member but we're struggling with the names. My husband would like to honor is grandfather with the name Russell. I would like to honor my adoptive father but his name is Randy Milton. Is there anyway to honor these two men without ending up with an old man name?

You could do two middle names: Cyrus Randal, Cyrus Randy, Randal Cyrus or Randy Cyrus.

I realize these can be a stretch for honor names, and absolutely personal preference, but I believe you can still honor family with initials or sound/feeling of the name. Here are some ideas:

Miller
Ryan
Milo
Miles

I don't see anything wrong with Russell Rand Lastname. It doesn't seem like an old guy imo. Though that could be because I know a 12 year old named Russell so it seems like a kid name to me.

I LOVE Russell. I also love the suggestion above of of Rand Russell. Russell Rand may be too close to Russell Brand unless you don't mind.
I also like Mill.
I once know a Milverton.

Russell is fine to use. Randy and Milton do seem a bit "old" but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use them. Andy or Randall might be more accessible. Andy Russell or Russell Andy?

Russton (or Ruston, which looks better; gives you Russ from Russell and -ton from Milton) and call him Russ. Or Rusty.

Randall, gives you Rand from Randy and -ll from Russell.
