Rory (boy) & Riley (girl) vs. Rowan & Renee vs. Rachel & Radley

We’re having twins a boy and a girl. We’d like for both of them to have names starting with R. We’d really like to use one of these names since mommy is going to give birth soon but suggestions are helpful. ~ Blaire & Barry

I think of Rowan as a girl’s name.

I can see Riley as a boy, though. What about Rachel and Riley?

All the Rowan’s I know are girls, sorry. How about Riley for the little boy and Rowan for the girl? Or Rory and Renee. Other suggestions: Raelyn, Robyn, Reagan, Reese

From my observation Rowan/Roan is a unisex name , as is Riley. Rowan is more of a girl’s spelling and Roan is more of a boys. What about changing Riley to Rylee for the little girl? Roan and Rylee?

I agree with the comment about Rowan being for a little girl. What about Rowan(girl) and Reilly(boy), I think this spelling is more masculine! Other names: Reagan, Rylan, Rianne, Rose, Ryder?

Sorry, I don’t think any of your male names are manly enough. What about one of these:
Ryan
Rhys
Rick
Richard
Robert
Rusty
Ron
I like Ryan and Renee or Ryan and Rachel best. Good luck!

It seems like the names you have chosen are SO unisex that it mght get confusing to people..especially with them being twins. Maybe Rowan for a boy and Rachel for the girl? I also like the suggestions of Ryan or Roman for the boy...Good luck!
