Ella Rose vs. Kaia Rose vs. Mia Rose

Which name do you like? We plan on calling her by both first and middle name. We are unsure if we should use the hyphen so people will know that we want her called by both names or don't do the hyphen and tell them we call her by both names. What do you think? Do you or someone you know have a hyphen in their name, if so do you or they use the hyphen or do you/they tend to drop the hyphen? Thank you for the help.

In MY own opinion, the no hyphen is a right way to go. I only knew one person with a hyphened name so far in my life and she didn't like it. Almost always got forgotten. My vote was Mia Rose so I would just keep it like it is. Plus, if she doesn't like to be called by both, the lack of hyphen gives her more freedom with her name. Cause while we as parents enjoy the names we pick, some flexibility left for the kid in my opinion is all the more welcome.

Since you plan on calling her by both, I think Ella Rose flows nicely but all three are nice, so I don't think you can go wrong. I wouldn't use a hyphen as they're usually ignored on most legal documents. If you live in the US, anyway.

Mia Rosamond or Rosalie. I am not in favor of short middle & first names.

Kaia Rose is nice but I bet she won't like being called both names. Pain on the ***.
