Twin brother to vs. Romie Name suggestions

Having BG twins in the fall. Baby girl's name is set as Romie (row-me). We wanted another R name for baby boy but we have been stumped when coming up with them. Are boy names harder than girls for anyone else? We have considered using Ryland for his name but I wanted to come on to get other opinions. We preferably want a name starting with R, but if you have another name that you think would go great with sister Romie let us know! Thanks!

Have you considered spelling Romy like so? I think that might be more straightforward. That aside, I think Ryland works. I'm not a big fan of matching letters myself but this is your rodeo.

I'm not a big fan of matching initials especially for twins, however, as long as it's just an R initial and not super similar, it should be fine. You may be open to reversed initials (e.g., Romie Kate and Knox River). I also want to second Romy over Romie.

I love the name Romy but your infantile spelling sucks the charm right out of the name for me. It just looks all wrong. I think it's best to have different initials especially when it comes to twins as they're often seen as a pair not two individuals. Previous posters have given you "R" names so I'll suggest names I think would be a good style match with Romie.

I like Romy and Ryland. I also like it that they both start with the same letter. I've always liked the name Russell if you want another suggestion.

Know a very tight knit family of 8 who all share initials, never bothered them at all. So no big deal there. But, yeah, Romy is the better spelling.
