Dante vs. Donte

We want to honor Donna with this name. Do you think we could use the usual Dante spelling or go with Donte so it has the same Don- beginning? We are open to other Don names, but we are really liking Dante right now. Not a fan of Donavan or Donald.

I do prefer Dante spelling (it's how im using it as a middle name) but Donte has a special meaning behind it too.
