I can't vote for either: I dislike Penelope due to what "pene" means in Spanish and I dislike Pippa due to what it means in Italian. I'm just being honest. Sorry!

With Penelope, I like the nickname Nell.

With Philippa, you could use Pip, Pippy, Pipkin, even Piper.

Poppy is another name for grandfather and the suggested nickname for PoPs is grandfather and even father. The suggested is totally stupid!!
