Alessia vs. Aliana vs. Millie
Looking for feedback for the name of our baby girl. With a short two syllable last name, we are thinking of a longer first name. The challenge is that many girl names end in "a", rhyming with the last name. Thanks!
The Top Baby Name is...
Alessia Koha
Aliana Koha
Millie Koha

Ideally, it's best for your first name to NOT have the same ending as your last name.
Instead of "ana", you could try "ane/ anne/en/enne" ending names like Aliane, Eliane, Fabienne, Julianne, Oriane, Lucienne, Marianne, Viviane/Vivienne etc...
I think "el/elle" names such as Arielle and Mariel, would be lovely with Koha.
Another option would be longer names that end in "n" sound like Jocelyn & Jacqueline and "e" sound like Leonie or Cecily.
There are numerous options from which to choose. Many names that end in "a" have another version that doesn't (eg. Seraphina > Seraphine).

^ forgot to add that if you like Millie, you could use Millicent Koa.
^another ending that would be fine with your surname is "et/ette" names like Juliet/Juliette and even two syllable Jeanette.
I think it's ok to have both ending in -a. I would just vary the rhythm. For example if your last name were Beta (just making up something here), Alessia Beta and Aliana Beta would sound better than Anna Beta with a repetitive rhythm. So I think your idea to go with a longer first name is a good one. But if you love Millie, also 2 syllables, I think that's fine since the endings are different. Good luck!
