How would you vs. Spell it

My husband and I want to honor family in our daughters name. my grandma, Mae, my husbands mom Leigh and my moms maiden name, Grey. My hubby suggested Greyce (Grace) but I vetoed that since it looks ridiculous so we are going with just Grey for a middle name. Putting Mae and Leigh together for her first name is the plan but Maeleigh looks odd. How would you spell it? I'm thinking Maelei but Wdyt?

Maelei I feel would be pronounced Mae-lay since a lei is pronounced like "lay". I vote either Maelie Grey or Mailey Grey.

I was going to suggest Maelie but reading the first comment I like the look of Mailey Grey…looks cleaner than Maelie Grey imo.

Maeleigh is what I would use as that's the names of the people you wish to honor.
