You could use Jay with a middle name starting with N to honor Jane. Jay Nicholas or Jay Nolan, for example.

Rhyming names could work too like Blane, Shane, or Kane.

I like Jonah but I love Jude. The vintage Jude is one of the coolest names around.

I appreciate your comments. We are interested in J names as we are following a naming convention among North American Jews, where we use the same initial of the person we want to honor. Plus these are names we truly like. This is why we are only looking at Jude and Jonah.

Have you considered Jace, only 1 letter different from Jane? Or Jason/Jaden/Jalen, which all include J, long A, and N but are still relatively short?
