I don't mind River on a girl but I'm not a fan of the other names, sorry. I would definitely keep your options open.
I love both Indie and Remy, but Indie gmv. Love Scout too!

I think you could do nicknames. Like Indie and Scout being the nicknames you use, but they have real given names. For example, Diana (like the second half of Indiana) called Indie. And then Louise (the middle name of Jean Louise aka Scout) or Eleanor/Nelle (Harper Lee's real name) with the nickname Scout.

Sounds like youre naming puppies. With the possible exception of River not obe of these is suitable.

Indie (even though I know it's a name) for some reason doesn't seem like a name to me. I think of Indian or Indie Music/ Movies but not a name.
Remy seems like a nickname. I've known three Remys. One man whose full name was Remington. One girl who was Chinese and Remy was the American name she had made up. And one girl who spelt it Remi.
