I'm always gonna love the name Sophie. I agree with Genevieve that it feels a bit more approachable. My impression of Sophia is a bit more frilly & more girly. Sophie is like her laidback sister lol

I prefer Sophie as I gravitate towards French names. Officially, in the US, it's less popular (#60) than Sophia (#5).
I love both and can't decide either. I think there is something very adorable with Sophie
