Easton Lyle vs. Easton Graham vs. Easton Michael

Hi again! Yesterday I made a post with a list of 6 middle name options for our baby boy due in May, who's first name is going to be Easton. We were able to narrow it down to 3, but now we need help deciding between them. All of them are family names (Lyle is my husband's grandfather's name, Graham is my uncle's name, and Michael is my husband's middle name), which makes it even harder. Please vote and comment on your favorite! Big sisters are Scarlett Joan (4, turning 5 in June) and Clementine Patricia (2, turning 3 next month). Thank you! - Erica and Jason.

I voted for the 2-1-2 syllable count combo of Easton Lyle Brenner. It's good to have a little variety in sound. I also like the hanging letter "y" which breaks up the straight line of the three names.

I voted for Easton Graham. Lyle is okay but it brings to mind Lyle Menendez and Lyle Lovett. I know it's just a middle but still 🤷🏻‍♀️

Like Lyle, Graham is (usually) pronounced as a one syllable so you'd have good rhythm. I personally like how a straight line looks. Perhaps that's a minority opinion but idc.

^I pronounce Graham like "GRAY-em" so it's two syllables for me (like Graham crackers). It may depend on where you live.

^ Yes I agree that pronunciation probably depends upon where you live, for sure. I say it GRAM like the unit of weight. It's the same with Lyle as it can be pronounced LIEL or LIE-uhl.

I like the look and sound of Easton Michael best. (I pronounce both Graham and Lyle as 2 syllables). I like the more traditional Michael paired with the less common Easton.

We are pronouncing Lyle as in rhymes with aisle (like a grocery store aisle) as that's how my husband's grandpa says it, and Graham like a Graham cracker lol.

We are strongly leaning towards Easton Lyle.

Thanks so far!

We've decided to go with Easton Lyle! All three options have tons of meaning, but Lyle is just a little extra special. Plus, it won in this poll. Thank you all so much for your help! :)
