Madeline vs. Mia vs. Chloe
We both love Madeline but hate the nickname Maddy. We also love the short and sweet sound of both Mia and Chloe.
We are thinking of Juliet or Grace for the middle name but those aren't solidified.

1 Madeline - I think this name looks and sounds the best with Clarke. However, you may have to come up with your own nickname or she probably will get Maddie. Nell, Della or Lena/Lina would work.
2 Mia - not a favourite name of mine but it sounds ok with your last name. Mia Juliet would be my pick.
3 Chloe - the name itself is ok but I don't like the way it sounds with your surname.

You could maybe do Madeline nn Mia and get two-for-one while avoiding Maddie. I don't think Chloe sounds good with Clarke.

If you don't like Maddie, I wouldn't do Madeline although I agree (again) with @Clara that you might be able to get away with Madeline nn Mia. But, if you're just going to call her Mia anyway, I'd just go with Mia. I voted for it.
Mia being a nn for Madeline doesn't make sense to me. The eeee sound of Mia isn't in the name. It's L-eye-ne . Maybe Madelina (Mad-uh- lee-nah).
