I love it! It's been used as a nickname for Marina, Marna, Marion, Marceline.. It would be my pick but our surname starts with an M and it just doesn't sound right.

I've never liked it, sorry. I like Mari and Marina, just not the "arn" sound. Marcie would be better though it's not really my style either.
