Mollie vs. Molly
This is the name we want to use but we are finding it difficult to decide on the spelling. I am a traditional spelling type - but then I read that Mollie was the usual spelling in the 1900s so that has me a bit conflicted as I don't know which came first, Molly or Mollie. That aside, which spelling do you think is the best? Thank you!

I think either spelling is fine but I'm personally more accustomed to Molly so I voted for that option.
I voted Mollie. As someone who has an I in her name, it's fun to put hearts, stars or flowers over it. Girlie for life.

Either one is acceptable but I voted for Molly.
If you still can't decide after the votes are in, consider this as a deciding factor.
If your surname (and to a lesser extent, your chosen middle name) have a hanging letter like y, p, g etc...pick Mollie. The more hanging letters in a combo, the more cluttered it looks written out on the page.
If your last name (and the middle) have no hanging letters...choose Molly. The "y" helps break up the straight line of the combo.
