Pippa vs. Pippi vs. Poppy

These names are quite familiar in England where I live. Which one do you prefer? My favourite children's book character was Pippi Longstocking but I think her full name Pippilotta is a bit over the top. Thanks for voting.

All three names have a youthful energy and a certain optimism to them.

In England and Wales, Poppy has been ranked in the top 25 most popular girl names since 2009. Pippa has been in the top 200 since 2012. I don't think Pippi is in the top 1,000 so it's not as common as the other two options.

Personally, I would choose the full name Philippa and then you would have a choice between Pippa or Pippi for nicknames.

I wouldn't use either name. Pippa has sexual connotations in several different languages/cultures and Poppy is too close to poopy so I would keep looking.

Poppy is also another name for grandfather
