Emilie Jane vs. Elsie Jane vs. Charlotte Jane
Which name? We do really like the French spelling of Emilie but we are worried that she will obviously have to correct people on the spelling as most will probably spell it Emily. Please let us know what you think? Do you have a name that is spelled differently than the most popular spelling and do you ever get tired of always correcting people that it's spelled different? We also have the other two names that are our back ups. Thank you for the help!

Charlotte Jane is classic and Austenesque. I love it.
Everyone that knows her and matters will spell her name correctly. I know an Emilee and she doesn't have issues. I also went to school with a Madisen and she never had issues with people spelling her name incorrectly.

I like Elsie but prefer Elsa. Elsie sounds like more of a nickname.

If you like Emilie use it. It's not a wild spelling and I don't think having a name with a slightly uncommon spelling is actually that big a hassle. I also like Elsie.

I think Elsie Jane is wonderfully vintage. I'm not a fan of Emily/Emilie due to a bad personal association and I think Charlotte has been far too popular for approximately 10 years now.
