Forrest is fine but pairing it with another word makes the combo sound like a THING not a PERSON (a forest of bears or deers). I would pair Forrest with either a Native American name to honor your heritage or a traditional male name.

There are almost 500 nations if you actually belong to one, by all means honor your heritage proudly. Except for Forrest, though, these are simply common English words, nothing cultural in sight.
