Karsyn Rayne vs. Karsyn Joy

We're thinking of naming our baby girl Karsyn. I love Rayne and have wanted to use it as a middle name for a while now. (Rain is my maiden name so I always thought it would make for a cute middle name for a girl). Hubby likes Joy and I'm unsure if I like the way Karsyn Rayne goes together. Any other suggestions are welcome!!

If you're going to use it, I wouldn't alter the spelling of the name Carson (to Karsyn) and I would use with it a decidedly female middle name: Joy. Rain could also make for a nice tribute but why spell it differently? Doesn't make much sense (to me).

Spelling the name Karsyn doesn't make it more feminine. I agree with Namehog about the spelling of Rain.

Karsyn (Carson) is strong and unique for a girl imo. I'd say go for it. Good luck naming your baby!

Carson no matter how badly misspelled is 100 % masculine, a harsh and inappropriate choice. The suggestion of Karla is so much better.

Karsyn is totally fine. It's definitely not the worst I've seen. If they wanted the name Karla they would have used it. Karla isn't that great.

Kara Joy? ...Karson Joy looks better, but still reads a bit masculine. However, I love Rain for a little girl, that would be cute. What about Rain as a first name?
