Violet Meredith vs. Viola vee oh la Meredith vs. Viola Vigh oh la Meredith

I love the name Viola. I've heard it said as both vee-oh-la as well as Vigh-oh-la. Which is the best or most common? I live in the southeast US. I also love Violet, similar and maybe less pronunciation issues? Middle name is Meredith after a very important family friend. What name would you choose? Thanks!!

To me, Viola Meredith sounds better than Violet Meredith which I find a bit choppy.

The "Vigh" pronunciation is my preference like actress Viola Davis. Many European countries pronounce the first syllable as "vee".

I voted Viola pronounced Vigh-oh-la. I have never heard the other pronunciation and dislike it.

I know Viola Davis pronounces it As the "vigh" one, but I was thinking that the instrument is typically said as Vee-oh-la.
Wasn't sure if that would affect the pronunciation of the name.
